Award winning Formby Swimming Academy is in the finals to win 'Best Inclusive Sports Club'

A Formby Swimming academy, needs your votes. Operating from Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa, Star Swimming won the award for the 'Best Health and Fitness Business 2017', in the Liverpool lifestyle awards and now they are in the finals to win 'Best Inclusive Sports Club 2017'.

The Liverpool Fitness Professional Awards is now in it's third year. This years ceremony will take place on Saturday 25th November at the prestigious Isla Gladstone.​ On the evening, guests will be treated to a three course meal and witness some of Liverpool's best entertainment. Finalists have now been selected and voting is now open.

A spokesman for the Star Swim Academy said: "We have been running for 13 years now and as well as our learn to swim programme, we also work closely and provide swimming with different organisations like Walking with giants and Autism in Motion."

"This year we won the award for 'Best Health and Fitness Business 2017' at the Liverpool Lifestyle awards and we are so proud of this accolade. For 12 years, we have tried very hard to establish ourselves as one of the top teaching academies for learning to swim and swimming lessons. I want to thank everyone that voted for us, along with the panel judges that chose us as the winner of that category."
