Formby Rotary Concert For Nepal
Formby Rotary recently held a concert at St Jerome's Church in Formby to raise funds for a project they are undertaking in Nepal. It's the Clubs 50th Anniversary this year and as part of their celebrations they are hoping to raise funds to repair a school in Nepal which was severely damaged in the earthquake. As part of the repair work the Club will also provide clean water and sanitation for the school and the village. The Concert was very well attended and the audience was treated to an excellent musical entertainment from The Country Folk, the Make Noise Choir and Grateful Fred's Ukelear Deterrent. Formby Rotary Club would like to thank everyone who attended and supported our fundraising efforts. Thanks also go to the entertainers who pro
vided their services for free on the night. Thanks to Peter Brooke's for the use of St Jerome's Hall. The photos show The Country Folk, the Make Noise Choir and The Grateful Fred's Ukelear Deterrent.
