Two generations of Selby girls love their dance classes in Formby
Many years ago, four little girls, Amanda, Karen, Caroline and Andrea Selby joined The Formby School of Dancing as Baby Selby’s. Each had their dreams to enjoy their dancing and maybe to become dancers in the future.
A few years passed and the four little girls grew up and had little girls of their own. All six sisters and cousins have now joined the Formby School of Dancing in the Baby Ballerina class.
The six little girls are loving their dancing just as their mums did before them.
The exciting news for them is they are now preparing for their show at The Victoria Hall Theatre. They can’t wait for the opportunity to take part and dance on the stage following in the footsteps of their Mums and all the successful pupils who have gone before them.
Their teacher Hayley Batchelor-Hannah is delighted to have so many girls from one family. Hayley said: "It proves how much pleasure, fun and confidence you can gain from these classes. The teachers are highly trained and have been with this family business for years, they are very experienced and you can’t put your children in better hands."
Please come along to the Victoria Hall in Freshfield and join Elisia, Laila, Ruby, Sophia, Kaila, Elsa and all the girls in these lovely classes and a chance to dance on stage!
Formby School of Dancing and Performing Arts has been established here in the North West for over forty years and is recognized as one of the best in the area. Children range from 3-18years and are taught in mixed classes from their studios at the Victoria Hall in Timms Lane, Freshfield, Formby.
