Queenscourt Hospice is a Southport based charity very dear to my heart. They take care of seriously ill humans enabling them to achieve the best quality of life at each new stage. All your proceeds will go to Queenscourt. For more information visit queenscourt.org.uk

Our second Strut Your Mutt 5k fun sponsored dog walk is taking place on Sunday 9th April 2017. The dog walk will start between 9.30am and 10am from Pontins Holiday Camp in Ainsdale, Southport. After leaving Pontins our dogs (and owners) will then enjoy a lovely morning walk along the beautiful beach at Ainsdale. We hope that once again this event will appeal to all our supporters and local dog owners. As this is a sponsored event we are asking our four legged friends to raise as much money as they can. To help them to increase the funds raised, please ask people sponsoring them if they are a tax payer and if so ask them to tick the Gift Aid box, increasing every £1 raised to £1.25. All funds raised will come directly to Queenscourt Hospice to help us provide vital services for the local community and the novelty is that your friends and family will be sponsoring your dog rather than you. There will be a prize for the dog that raises the most funds, a fabulous doggy hamper with two runners up prizes. Registration is £5 in advance (available until 8th April) and for anyone signing up on the day it will be £10. We are proud to have Barking Mad sponsor this year’s event, the UK's most trusted dog sitter and a great alternative to kennels. We hope that you will join in the fun and help to raise vital funds for Queenscourt Hospice and we have everything crossed wishing for good weather!
