Two bikes stolen from a Formby home last night

Merseyside Police are appealing for the public's help after burglary in Formby last night.
Two bikes were stolen last night, Thursday 2nd February from a locked shed in Ashcroft Road in Formby. The thieves broke into the shed via Bills Lane fields which backs onto Ashcroft Road.
The owner of the bikes spoke to Formby Bubble and said: "It was a windy night and we heard a loud noise outside about 11pm but passed it off as the wind! This morning, we have discovered that two of our bikes have been stolen. They were both in a locked shed. One bike was a pink women's bike with basket and the second bike was a Cannondale men's white mountain bike."
A family friend said: "My friend had two bikes stolen last night in Ashcroft Road. They came in from the back of Bills Lane. They took the door off the shed. Both of the bikes were locked up."
The pink ladies bike has been found this morning, Friday 3rd February dumped on Bills Lane.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We received the report this morning, Friday 3rd February of a break-in on Ashcroft Road in Formby. The incident, in which two bikes were stolen happened some time between the hours of 5pm on Thursday 2nd February and 7:30am. The bikes were stolen from a locked shed in the garden."
