Reception children at Redgate Community Primary School celebrating Chinese New Year

The reception children at Redgate Community Primary School have had a wonderful week celebrating Chinese New Year. They have made their own Chinese lanterns, learnt to use chopsticks, enjoyed some tasty Chinese food for snacks and even created their own beautiful cards.

They have ended a wonderful week of celebrations by inviting their families into school to make rooster masks with them.

As if that wasn't fabulous enough they then worked together to create an amazing dragon which was used during their spectacular dragon dance they performed.
