Formby Junior Football Team Celebrate Christmas at Glow in the Dark Party

The under 14's girls and the under 10's boys teams travelled to Leyland for their Christmas Party which was hosted by Globall Sports and consisted of UV glow in the dark football.

The children played for one hour in the dark and wore UV vests, socks and headgear. They played football in the dark, passing and moving with an LED ball.

Tina Hamilton said: "It was great fun and lots of laughing could be heard!"

After they had run around for an hour passing the ball, it went to the penalty shootout. The girls said normally you try hard to not look at where you are going to put the ball away whether it be left, right, top or bottom. This was great for the keeper as she couldn't see where you were looking!

Everyone said they had a great afternoon and created lasting memories.
