Night of Miracles - Formby Nativity Play is on tomorrow at 11am
Churches Together offer a free invitation to come and be part of Formby’s traditional Christmas. The Village Nativity will bring the real meaning and spirit of Christmas to Formby at 11am tomorrow - Saturday, December 10th
The play is organised by the churches as a gift to the Formby community. It is to be performed outdoors in Formby’s main street, Chapel Lane.
Chapel Lane seating area for Nativity in 2014 - Depending on the weather this year, the seating may be different.
The acting areas in the road opposite Boots, will be raised four feet above ground level to give the audience standing on the pavements a great view.
There will be seating in the road, for early-birds and a dedicated viewing area for wheelchair users.
Real animals will also have a starring role, the donkey will hopefully give Mary a smooth ride but how the sheep and goats will behave is anybody’s guess!
It takes more than 100 people, working together, to put on the Village Nativity.
The 60-strong cast is drawn from the churches, the high schools and primary schools and the wider Formby community.
More than 100 of our local primary children will be there, in full costume, with their school staff and parents.
They will usually be singing carols from 10.45am.
