Merseyside Police is appealing for help to find a Southport man missing from home

Merseyside Police is appealing for the public's help in tracing a Southport man who has not been seen since last week. Michael Walsh, aged 58, of Roe Lane, Southport, was reported missing on Tuesday, August 23. He was last seen at his home address at around 7pm. Michael is described as white, of slim build, with short dark brown curly receding hair, blue eyes and has a north west / Wigan accent. The last time he was seen, Michael was wearing a royal blue puffer jacket, grey hooded top underneath and dark trousers. He is known to frequent locations in the Southport area. Extensive enquiries are continuing but police are becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.
