My Local Formby store closure

Yesterday, Monday 11th July we sadly saw the closure of the My Local store on Chapel Lane, despite previous hopes that it would be taken over and carry on trading.

The manager of my local has given the following statement:

"it's been a pleasure to serve the people of Formby.

Morrisons have stated they will offer roles to us within 6 months of store closure and some of my staff have already been offered positions so that's really good!"

We would like to offer our best wishes to all the staff for their future ventures, and will keep you informed when we hear of any plans for this building.
