Parent Carers Advocacy & Support Groups Officer
Salary: £19,162 (pro rata) + 3% pension
Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Sefton Carers Centre is seeking to recruit a person who can develop and co-ordinate services for Parent Carers living in Sefton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Parent Carers to enable them to access information, support and advocacy though a needs-led service.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working with unpaid Carers and has the skills to support Parents of Children with disabilities and additional needs. You will have a good knowledge of appropriate services provided by health, social services and other relevant agencies. You will have excellent communications and self-management skills, with a passion to actively promote the rights of Parent Carers with multi- agency partners.
