Jenny and Jes Squires, Scafell Pike summer solstice sunrise - Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis Society.

On 19/20th June 2016 at midnight, Jenny and Jes from the Formby Barbers shop on Green Lane are going to be setting off from Wasdale Head to climb Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain...in the dark! What are they thinking!?
The idea is to watch the sunrise from the top of the highest mountain, on the longest day of the year. They are setting off at midnight and hope to raise money and awareness for the MS Society. The Multiple Sclerosis Society is a charity that funds research, give grants, campaigns for change, provides information and support, invests in MS specialists and lends a listening ear to those who need it.
Customers at the much loved Barbers shop have been donating for a while now. The girls had a target figure to raise of £1,075 and have to date raised a whopping £947.94. Any donations, however big or small will be so greatly appreciated.
Jenny said: "Thanks to everyone who has donated so far. The support has been quite overwhelming. Thanks so much."
