Local woman expresses her thanks to all the people who stopped to help after RTC

There was a collision on Saturday afternoon on Liverpool Road in which a local woman was involved with her 5 year old son in the car.
The road was closed for several hours and caused major congestion for anyone wishing to leave or enter via this route.
Everyone involved were relatively unscathed, they all escaped with aches and bruises. However she would like the anonymously say thank you to all the people who stopped to help them. The kindness of strangers in her hour of need helped her immensely.
Merseyside police logged the incident as follows:
Merseyside Police were called at 1.10pm to a report of a collision on Liverpool Road, Formby, between a Vauxhall Zafira and a Ford Transit van.
A woman driver of the Zafira sustained a minor facial injury and other occupants of both vehicles were uninjured. A road closure was in place between Liverpool Road and the Formby Bypass. Both vehicles were recovered and the road was reopened around 3.30pm.
Yesterday the lady went to empty her car and say a final farewell to it and realised just how bad the accident had been and how incredibly lucky they all were to have escaped.
