The Police and Crime Commissioner Election
On May 5, electors can elect the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Merseyside. The election is administered by the Police Authority Returning Officer at Liverpool City Council and comprises the authorities of, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral.

How to vote:
In order to vote you need to be registered on the electoral register. If you are already on the register you don't need to do anything and a polling card will be sent to you.
If you have changed your address or name you will need to let Sefton Council know. You can register to vote online.
Polling stations throughout Sefton will be open on Thursday 5 May 2016 from 7am-10pm. If you have already registered for a postal vote, your pack will be sent out to you before the elections are held.
