A female shop lifter was detained by security staff at Marks & Spencer in Formby yesterday afternoon.
Joanne Donoghue, 44 yrs from Thornton, was later arrested and charged with two counts of theft, from M&S and Savers Stores, in Formby.
Donoghue is due to attend South Sefton Magistrates Court on 27th April 2016.
