Brand new and exclusive 'Formby Club'

The brand new and exclusive Formby Club is opening within the new Wetherspoons on Three Tuns Lane in Formby.

The Formby Club is an up-market social club that will have it’s own separate entrance and will be strictly for members only. Members will pay an annual fee to be a part of this elite club in Formby that will have a members only bar and a balcony overlooking the beer garden.

Joe Riley who is chairman of the Formby Club said: “We want to be a modern club that people want to be in with a younger profile in general. We are pleased to offer vibrant sports fixtures and events.”

It will be smart casual dress code to ensure high standards with two snooker/pool tables and darts. The club will be open seven days a week from 4pm but, will be available for function hire during the day with a meeting room available for members to use.

Members will be issued with a membership fob which will double as an entry card and bar tab.

The Formby Club will be opening ahead of Wetherspoons, which was hoped to be late April but, we have now been informed that it will be May. The private members club will be an attractive new facility for the community. They are now working on membership details which will be announced soon.
