Formby Timber is looking for a timber machinist/labourer for their busy timber client

based in Formby

In this role the successful candidate should be flexible, highly organised, good team worker and be capable of performing tasks to a high standard whilst maintaining excellenthealth & safety awareness.

Duties will include but will not be limited to: Operating planer, cross cut saw, circular saw, band saw, bench and table saw. Assist and serve customers.

Prepare timber to size as ordered.

Maintain stock levels.

Assist other machinist when required. Driving and delivering orders on occasions. (Full driving licence is required)

Forklift and side loader driving would be advantageous. The work is part­time but you may be asked to work extra hours, the post may become fulltime.

The hours of work are 24 hours over 3 days (Mon/Tue/Fri ­ 8:00 to­17:00) ­ the candidate would need to flexible as this may change due to the business demands. The hourly rate is £7:95 per hour. Due to the location of the work having your own transport is preferable as there are no direct public transport links to the site
