Anti-Social Vehicle use in Duke Street Park

Yesterday evening at approximately 18:45hrs a call was received from a resident of Formby, reporting Anti-Social Vehicle use in the area of Duke Street Park.
The informant reported two motorbikes being ridden inside the park, pulling wheelies and causing annoyance to passers-by. The registration numbers of the offending vehicles were provided, but at the time the vehicles were not located.
This morning, after having conducted Registered Keeper checks, the owner of one of the motorbikes was traced to an address in Southport. The rider was subsequently issued with a formal warning under Section 59 Police Reform Act 2002 and advised about his future conduct.
If the warning is breached in the future this will lead to the motorbike being seized.
The registered keeper of the 2nd vehicle could not be traced as the registration number provided was incorrect.
