Volunteers needed for Formby Beach Clean in April and June
My name is Andy Laverick; I am a local Marine Conservation Society Sea Champion (local based volunteer).
There are 2 Beachwatch events coming up on Monday 4th of April from 10.00 am and Monday 27th of June from 10.00 am. It will be at Freshfield beach again (on the national trust property).
The previous local event collected 50 kg of waste in 45 minutes with the most frequent item being found was unfortunately plastic, of which thirty nine items were found.
