An eleven-year-old girl struck by car in Formby village today

Chapel Lane in Formby village was completely blocked off today for approximately three quarters of an hour.
A pedestrian was hit by a car in a relatively low speed impact at 2:50pm this afternoon.
The pedestrian, an eleven-year-old girl, was taken to hospital suffering with minor injuries including a leg injury.
A Police van, two Police cars, an Ambulance and a Paramedics attended the scene.
The village re-opened at 3:30pm
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping police with their investigation.
