Little Lamb Tales at Formby Library today to celebrate National Libraries Day

Special storytime event today at Formby Library at 10:30am with author Jude Lennon and her friends - Roary the Dragon and Lamby from Little Lamb Tales.
Story reading and book signing. Everyone is very welcome to pop along.

Staff from Sefton libraries will be busy celebrating National Libraries Day and are asking residents to get involved as well.

Why not pop along and meet the White Rabbit and Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland at Bootle Strand shopping centre on Saturday, February 6?
Other activities on the day include a free raffle, pin the tail on the dinosaur, craft and storytelling sessions. Storytelling sessions take place at: 11am - Six Dinner Sid; 12.30pm - The Mad Hatter and the Big Band Story, and at 2.30pm - Harry and the Dinosaur.
For those who enjoy a bit of history there will also be replica artefacts and photos of Sefton during World War Two on display.
Other events to celebrate National Libraries Day will also be taking place at Formby, Crosby and Southport libraries:
Formby Library at 10.30am on Friday, February 5. Special Storytime with author Jude Lennon and her friends Roary the Dragon and Lamby.
Crosby Library at 10.30am on Saturday, February 6. Local author Donna Gowland will be reading from her hilarious picture book ‘Goats don’t wear Capes’.
Southport Library at 10.30am on Saturday, February 6. Barclays Digital Eagles will be running a Code Playground session, in the library. Aimed at families, the session will explore coding in a fun way!
