Arctic weather bomb will plunge Britain below freezing as first snow of 2016 falls
The unseasonably mild weather is coming to an end and Formby is on Significant snow risk warning according to VeryWeather

Much of Britain is set to shiver as Arctic conditions set in from the middle of next week.
Forecasters warned temperatures could plunge to -10C (14F) in parts of northern England.
The Met Office said: “A cold spell is expected to be underway around the middle of next week which will most likely last into the weekend across much of the UK.

“Snow will fall to low levels at times in the north. Temperatures will be below average with widespread overnight frosts as well as a risk of icy surfaces.”
According to VeryWeather, most Weather Models are showing a Significant Decrease in temperature into proper Snowy WINTER next week, with a growing risk of heavy snow for many areas of the UK at times.
One thing is for sure, We are about to head into a Significant, and potentially Severe WINTER Pattern, hold on tight for some Heavy snowfall. At the moment the chance is around 70% Of a SIGNIFICANTLY Colder & Snowier
The Met Office, which has issued a yellow warning for snow, said current weather models suggest a switch to much colder conditions through the start of the 2016.
Its three-month outlook states that after the milder start to the year temperatures will plunge later in the month.
