Beach Clean event on Monday 18th January at National Trust Formby
My name is Andy Laverick; I am a local Marine Conservation Society Sea Champion (local based volunteer).
There is a big beach clean event on Monday 18th January from 10.00 am. It will be at Freshfield beach again (on the National Trust property). The previous national events last year saw a record breaking number of volunteers collect and recorded a whopping 273,747 pieces of litter. I would therefore like to invite you and any of your colleagues. To sign-up for this great LOCAL event please visit www.mcsuk.org/beachwatch
I have attached the poster which advertises the event to this message for your use.
If you require any further information about this great local event please don't hesitate to contact me either by email or phone. My contact details are as follows:

Beachwatch is our national beach cleaning and litter surveying programme - helping people all around the UK to care for their coastline.
Some of our best-loved marine wildlife is under threat from the waste and litter in our seas, with hundreds of species accidentally eating or becoming entangled in litter.
It's also dangerous for people and damaging to our tourism and fishing industries. We all have a part to play in turning the tide on litter. Join an event or organise your own and be part of the most influential fight against marine litter in the UK!
