Personal Trainer and Apprentice wanted at Formby's Origym

Origym in Formby are currently recruiting for personal trainers and apprentices.

We are hiring for both a paid Personal Trainer position and an apprentice Personal Trainer. The apprenticeship is 6 months and they will have a fully recognised level 3 personal training quailification with experience at the end. Financial bonuses can be earnt also.

Being a successful personal trainer is about more than just your level of skill and knowledge relating to exercise and nutrition strategies. Having a business mindset is essential if you want to find and keep clients. A big part of this is being able to recognise the kinds of clients – or potential clients – you are dealing with, and adapting your approach accordingly.

Adapting your personality:

Human beings can be generalised and categorised into 4 groups and it is very important to adapt your personality to the individual you are promoting yourself to.

The 4 categories:

1 – RED – Someone who is very direct, very self opinionated, always thinks there right, can be perceived as aggressive 2 – BLUE – Someone who is very organised, analytical, thorough in their approach 3 – YELLOW – Someone who is very bubbly, fun, friendly. 4 – GREEN – .Someone who is very emotional, not afraid to express their feelings, can be perceived as soft.

When communicating (not just selling PT) you should always attempt to classify them and then mirror image their personality as they will naturally endear to you more than a conflicting colour.

Most people will be a combination of two colours with one colour being a more prominent aspect of their personality.
