Tenure: Permanent, Full-time
Responsible to: Service Manager / Deputy Service Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape new activities, alongside people supported by Fernley Resource Centre, near Formby (L37 1PH).
We are looking for 1 Team Leader and 1 Senior Activity Worker – each to use their specialist experience and knowledge in these areas:
Team Leader
*_Horticulture, Healthy Lifestyles and Sensory Development_*
As well as leading in one of these specialist areas, the Team Leaders will work closely with each other, and with the management team, to ensure that Fernley offers an increasing range of activities on and off site, with risks well managed and all personal care needs met.
Senior Activity Worker
*_Art, Drama and Sensory Development_*
* * This individual role is primarily, to work with the Manager and Team Leader to support the service to the highest standards and maintain current service quality and enhance same by the use of person centred working. This is a perfect development opportunity for the right individual. It is an exciting time at Fernley Resource Centre with planned changes around syllabus being offered together with opportunities for people who use the service to achieve positive outcomes.
The post holder will ensure effective leadership is provided for the staff team, and will ensure that the service operates within ethos of the Charity throughout.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supported by good IT skills
Able to deliver constructive feedback in a positive manner, adapting styles to meet individual learning needs.
Able to monitor performance address any areas that may be identified as requiring action
