High Tides this weekend and long delays at National Trust

Very high tides this weekend, today there will be little or no beach visible between 10.30am and 1.30pm. High tide is due at 11:21am in Formby and is 9.00m high. There are some car parks closed on the Sefton coast due to high tides which usually means that Formbys National Trust will be very busy this weekend. Please expect long delays and long queues.

Due to forecast high tides, Southport beach will be closed for car parking from Friday 28 August until Friday 4 September 2015.

Ainsdale beach will be closed for car parking from Monday 31st August until Thursday 3rd September 2015.

Please note that beach car parks can be closed at other times for other reasons such as severe weather or organised events.
