Crossfest at the Cross House this Bank Holiday

THE Cross House Inn, Three Tuns Lane, is celebrating it's annual Crossfest on bank holiday weekend (August 28 - 3.) The beer and music event will have many craft stalls, a funfair, BBQ and face painting. The beer tent opens on Friday August 28 at 5pm where there will be over 50 beers and ciders to taste across the weekend. This year there is the addition of a gin bar with 27 gins from around the world to sample. Saturday and Sunday sees the showcasing of 11 bands with a variety of genres so there is something for everyone. The event will raise money for local charities including Sefton Cancer Support and Moebius Research Trust through raffles, the BBQ and various stalls. For more information call 01704 873775
