A great BIG Thankyou to all who helped raise money for the 6th Formby Methodist Brownies 50th Birthday when they celebrated their special year with an adventure weekend to Colomendy.....

Hello from 6th Formby Methodist Brownies. We would just like to say thank you to each and every person who has helped us raise money for our pack's 50th birthday. Whether you put your spare change in our buckets when we bag packed at Iceland or while we sang carols outside Waitrose, put your green token in our Community Matters at Waitrose in February or if you're a friend or relative of one of our girls and have participated in one of our fundraising events throughout the year. This money was primarily to help fund an adventure weekend away to Colomendy to celebrate our special year and with your help we were able to take all our girls away last weekend and provide them with special personalised hoodies. The girls and leaders had the most fantastic time trying zip wiring, raft building, caving, abseiling and much more and came away with memories which will stay with them forever. With the leftover fundraising money we are putting on our annual show at the United Reform Church on Saturday 4th July (details to be confirmed near the time) and hosting a free celebration evening to showcase all that we have done during our special birthday year.
