PUPILS at Formby School of Dancing and Performing Arts are celebrating the end of another successful first term, as they prepare for their summer competitions. As a way to showcase the students achievements, the Principles of the school Alistair and Hayley Hannah have set up a noticeboard with all their students stories and accolades. Among the success stories include, pupil Eleanor Worthington Cox, who will be starring at Blousey in Bugsy Malone in the West End until September, she is also appearing in Sky TV's highly acclaimed The Enfield Haunting as Janet Hodgson. Eleanor will also soon be appearing on CBBC in a lead role in Hetty Feather. Another pupil, Kerry Belford, has been accepted for two universities to study dance and has gained enough UCAS points from her dance exams to have been offered an unconditional offer. All pupils have also received a hoard of trophies from their recent dance festival where they swept the board and won the Outstanding School's Cup. Alistair Hannah, Principal at the school said: “All these achievements and we have only just finished the first term. ”All our students have just finished their fantastic drama show and are now looking forward to their drama festival soon. “Well done to everyone and keep up the good work.”
