St.Luke's Church Tearoom is opening again on Friday, Saturday and Bank holiday Mondays, 11 to 4 pm. Great soups, sandwiches and cakes, outdoor and indoor seating and more importantly friendly volunteers to serve you.
The church hall is open on Fridays and Saturdays in summer for teas. When we went it was not a warm day, most of the customers were inside. The standard church hall chairs had been fitted with upholstered covers, so the inside had become a pleasantly appointed tearoom. Tea and cakes delivered to the table - all very professional. A few customers were sitting out in the garden, which has access to the pinewoods by Lifeboat Road, and so to the beach. Later we walked down to the beach and along it.
