Leading Black Male Singer/Dancer/Actor required immediately (Southport)

BOS Musical Theatre Company an amateur musical theatre company in Southport, is seeking a young black male actor to join the cast for its next production of Hairspray the Broadway Musical.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with a keen interest in musical theatre. Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances, our present Seaweed has had to withdraw from the show and we are urgently looking for a replacement. Hairspray is a fun musical with fabulous musical numbers which include Good Morning, Baltimore; Welcome to the ’60s; Nicest Kids in Town; You Can’t Stop the Beat.

Although the playing age is 18 – 21 years the society is encouraging anyone from age 17 years up to 35 years to get in touch. BOS MTC is a friendly company which prides itself on nurturing young talent.

Sunday rehearsals begin 12th April. The musical will be staged at the Little Theatre, Hoghton Street, Southport from Saturday 23rd May 2015 to 30th May 2015 with a matinee on the final Saturday.
