What we offer:

As an Apprentice Sales Consultant, you’ll earn a salary whilst you learn. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn commission through achieving your sales targets. Not only will you achieve a nationally recognised qualification (level 2 and level 3 apprenticeship in travel services), you’ll also gain real life work experience, which will form the foundation of your career.

You’ll need to be prepared to work hard in a fast paced environment, learn on the job and adapt quickly to change. You’ll receive sales and customer service training but you must have the desire and determination to succeed in a sales environment, promoting additional products and services. You’ll also need to use in-store technology to demonstrate your digital skills, delighting our customers and bringing their holiday enquiry to life.

Role Details:

A 24 month apprenticeship contract with the opportunity of a permanent position (dependent upon qualification achievement)
37.5 hours per week
Training salary - £6,250 per annum (increasing in the second year) + on target earnings, company benefits and holiday discounts.
Additional financial support is also provided for travelling expenses.

What you will need:

You’ll need to be keen to learn and want to start a career in travel sales. You ‘ll enjoy working to targets and deadlines, engaging with customers and building relationships. You’ll have the confidence to build a rapport with our customers, enabling you to establish their requirements so you can offer them the most appropriate products and services.

You must commit to successfully completing both the level 2 and level 3 apprenticeships over a two year period. You will need to actively participate in training workshops and complete work towards your qualification within the agreed timescales. Although support will be provided, you will also be required to take responsibility for your own personal development and keep up to date with the products and services we offer. You’ll have to be flexible – retail opening hours include weekends and bank holidays.

Be aged 16 years or above
Have attained grades (or predicted grades) of A - D in Maths and English (or equivalent)
Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last three years
Not hold a level 4 qualification or a degree
Have not already completed an Apprentice programme
Don't hold any qualifications in Travel and Tourism
