Our Local Brownies are Bag Packing Today in Iceland and Need Your Support.....

The 6th Formby Brownies will be bag packing today in Iceland and need your help to raise funds for their special trip to Colomendy to celebrate their 50th anniversary this year. They are also on 'Waitrose Community Matters' throughout February so please add the green tokens for them.

Fundraising activities planned for the year include bag packs at local supermarkets, singing for the community and a local fair, as well as a sponsored walk around Duke Street, which is planned for September 11. Laura Stewart, Assistant Leader said: "We hope our fundraising activities will provide the girls with an opportunity to become involved in the community."We are also asking if there are any women who have been a member of the 6th or 16th Formby Methodist Brownies, as the two groups amalgamated in 2010, to get in touch as we would love to hear their stories of being in the Brownies."'
