Thanks for this Colin, we think it is the Formby wood sculpture Simon Archer, he also produced the giant asparagus spears for the National Trust. Fantastic and all done with a chain saw! Brilliant

This popped up today near formby point, must be 10 foot tall and carved out of a tree trunk, best sculpture i have seen yet around formby point and surrounding area - Colin Jackson
