Chocolate Monkey Pops
What You Need:
o 2 Bananas
o 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
o 1 1/2 Tablespoon milk
o 2 Tablespoons honey
o 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla extract
o 4 Popsicle sticks
Instructions:
1. Mix together the cocoa powder, milk, vanilla, and honey in a shallow bowl until well blended.
2. Peel the bananas and cut them in half.
3. Roll each banana in the chocolate mixture so it is well coated.
4. Place a popsicle stick into the flat cut side of each piece of banana. If there is extra chocolate, pour it on the bananas.
5. Eat immediately, or place in the freezer on wax paper for a cold treat later.
Note:
If desired you can coat the chocolate banana with a third layer such as sprinkles or chopped nuts!

Ice Cream Sandwich
What You Need:
o 8 Chocolate Chip Cookies
o Vanilla Ice Cream
o (makes 4)
Instructions:
1. Place 4 cookies on a cookie sheet with the flat side of the cookie facing up.
2. Put 1 scoop of softened ice cream on top of each cookie.
3. Place the remaining 4 cookies on top of the ice cream scoops with the flat side of the cookie facing the ice cream, and press down lightly.
4. Place the cookie sheet in the freezer.
5. After about an hour your ice cream sandwiches are ready to enjoy!
Tip:
You can also try different cookies and different flavored ice cream for your own unique ice cream sandwich!
Note:
If you don’t have room in your freezer for a cookie sheet, you can wrap each ice cream sandwich individually in plastic wrap, and place them in the freezer.
Marshmallow Face
What You Need:
o Graham crackers
o A large marshmallow
o Toothpick
o Chocolate syrup
Instructions:
1. Place the marshmallow on top of the cracker and heat it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
2. Remove the marshmallow from the microwave–it should be large and melty.
3. Drop chocolate syrup onto the marshmallow and swirl with a toothpick to create your eyes, nose, mouth etc.
4. Have fun and gobble up!
Chocolate Pretzels
What You Need:
o Pretzels
o Semi-sweet chocolate chips
o Bowl
o Cookie sheet
o Wax paper
Instructions:
1. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.
2. Remove bowl from microwave and dip pretzels into chocolate, making sure that they are covered. This is easiest to do using a fork.
3. Place pretzels on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
4. Put cookie sheet in the refrigerator until chocolate covered pretzels harden.
Apple Boats
What You Need:
o Apple
o Cutting board
o Knife
o Peanut Butter
o Raisins
o Nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Take your apple and carefully cut it in half.
2. Remove the core and seeds.
3. Spoon peanut butter into the apple halves.
4. Arrange the raisins and nuts on the peanut butter…enjoy!
Strawberry Smoothie Squares
What You Need:
o 4 Strawberries
o 1/2 Banana
o 2 Cups orange juice
o 2 Cups pineapple juice
o 2 Pieces of pineapple wedges
o Blender
o Parent for guidance
o Ice cube tray
Instructions:
1. Put the half of banana in the blender.
2. Next, add the strawberries to the blender along with the pineapple slices.
3. Now you can pour in all your juice.
4. Blend the ingredients until nice and smooth.
5. Pour the mixture into your ice cube tray and freeze.
6. When frozen, pop out of the tray and enjoy!
